Why is this forum not locked? If it was meant to be a anouncment why wasnt it been locked so that people like kokino can post any posts that dont have "anything" to "do" with "main subject"

Forgive my ignorance please but what fool in particular are you talking about? I haven't been active here that much lately so i guess I'm little behind on these issues.

That's a lot of points for one post, Paul. What's the gag? Hoping for them all to be answered or just employing some sort of scattergun technique?

I may be wrong, but my understanding of the situation is that a new user flooded the forums with obscene material while no moderator was online to catch it. This went unchecked for about an hour or so until a moderator came online, saw what was going on, deleted all the posts and removed the user. Whatever user name the guilty party may have been using for that hour is irrelevant. The account was closed, and all the offensive material removed. The request for more mods was to make sure there aren't any more gaps in coverage, and such incidents are dealt with that much sooner.

trust me, you're so not sorry you missed it. it was horribly stupid and pretty offensive. the worst part was how stupid it all was.
