Is there a reason why people do not use the spell check feature? I will be the first to admit my grammar and use of punctuation are not always correct, but it takes less than a minute of time to run a spell check. Granted spell check does not catch errors when you spelled a word correctly but you have used the wrong word. For example I left a message for some one where I wished them "good lick" :)
Nor does it correct homophones: "I don't no ware you are," and that sort of thing.
My guess would be that people don't use it simply because they don't care about that aspect of the presentation of their ideas. It's a common thing on the Internet, unfortunately.
