All they do is talk about tournaments. Same with @DanielGuel.
Dude really
You clearly don’t read our blogs
Only about half of mine are tournaments and that’s cause I want to document my journey to NM
Roger posts more often about topics not related to his tournaments
Daniel nowadays mostly posts about tournaments, but dig deeper and see all the other stuff he’s posted about
Do some actual research before making a comment like that smh
You literally did an entire blog about 3 reasons as to why you would take a 2 day break from Chess.
If that isn’t worthy of a bruh chain, I don’t know what is
It was an April Fools blog which most ppl found enjoyable
That was one of my humor blogs. I strive to make my blogs humorous because I wouldn’t generally read a blog without humor
I not only find it hilarious, but also sad that one of our fellow human beings is getting pissed that I post a April fools blog and attacks me and shame me for posting false news. Not only have they said that I do not deserve top blogger for posting fake news, but they clearly are under assumptions rather than facts. If you would've known, the head of chess.com content specifically gave @Lightning and I permission to post a April Fool's blog... pftt, some people.
I still don’t really get the benefit of making blogs.
Personally, it’s fun for me and it’s a good way to pass the time as well
Also fun to receive feedback and comments
Okay. So no money / membership rewards ?
There is money.
Daniel's blogs are one of my favorites along with @Logoczar's, both are very welcoming and informing and also get the point across in writing along with bits of humor which prevent it from becoming stale (like my awful B- English writing skills).
I still don’t really get the benefit of making blogs.
There aren't a lot of benefits to existing, either
Actually there is.

25 dollars for blog of the month and you can advertise services like coaching.

Is there something philosophically wrong with it? In a tournament post, you get a lot of insight, possible stories, and the games have themes. That's what I (and I'm sure @Lightning as well) try to present in our tournament posts. However, I will give it to you, I wish I had more diverse content. I just don't have the time or motivation to come up with something else original
Tournament posts might be the best topic to base your blogs around. You can get humor, instructive value, and a good story. I honestly don't mind that you haven't posted diverse topics, because your tournament blogs are very well-written, and I would treat new topics as a pleasant surprise. And since you're in college we're kind of lucky to be getting blogs at all.

Those are some really cool benefits to existing! I'm motivated to continue existing to qualify for these perks!
I think @rodgys old blogs arnt greeat, but new ones are good
10000% agreed
Definitely true. Thumbnails are better, topics are more engaging, and the newer blogs are just more fun to read!

That makes sense, and I agree. Your English skills aren't awful though. ![]()

There is a benefit to existing because...? The difference between existing and not existing is sentience. However, that is not necessarily a "benefit". It's just something that is, because that's what existing is.
It would be like saying blue is better than red, because blue has more blue than red has blue.

Benefits of existing is x. x is y. y is x. Simple? Sorry if you want a better explanation of what is x, then I would say it is z.

And what assumptions exactly am I under?
