The fact so many players find it annoying when opponents don't resign is another reason why you shouldn't resign - they may get frustrated and lose focus or think the game is already over. Resigning is always a game-losing Blunder.

Here's a good example of why you shouldn't resign lol I blundered my queen and my opponent blundered back

This would be losing in classical but tunnel vision effects everyone ... I was very sneaky with my bishop lol

Umm... I checked the explorer for such games and there were none...

It's a blitz game xd in classical at my level id be lost but even at beginner level there's a chance https://www.chess.com/game/live/114752290519

I doubt the opening explorer saves every game

BlindRook67

I’ve only been here a short time but a lot of people play on with a lot of time remaining and many points down to where it wouldn’t matter if I blundered a few times?

JustALifeOfChess

The most annoying people are demonstrated below:

The players who play absolutely trash openings, and have practiced it for almost their entire chess career. And when you've exactly beat them fair and square, In the last minute beat you because you've made a blunder in the endgame and because you used you used most of your time in the middlegame crushing them.

Sorry for the confusion, I think there is a glitch in the explorer.

But I don't know why the game was played like that...

But I don't know why the game was played like that...

What happened was he expected me to resign due to me falling for an opening trap (most at my level do ) and he tunnel visioned cause he was too spooked that I didn't resign lol at least that's my theory

chekagain

Wait. People blunder at 2280 elo at blitz? 99.7% of blitz players are below you, and you blundered your queen and your opponent gave it back in a rated game.

654Psyfox

Anyone who plays Bongcloud. I instantly resign, because if you won't play seriously, why should I play you at all?

Yes but the thing is a 800 wouldn't make that type of blunder they would do something else even if they did they probably wouldn't get a blunder back like that they would have to do something different

Frankly the Bongcloud is a insult to my intelligence as a chess player.

Chess isn't a game about intelligence you don't become a genius by playing chess the bong cloud is a bad relatively playable opening plus if a player is giving you an advantage why not use it to your advantage

The Bongcloud is the highest level of disrespect and chess player can receive, and I would rather not deal with it.
