The thrills of only Blitz & Bullet Play Does not Allow Chess Abilities to Flourish

I was recently contacted and asked for some advice from a player asking how he could improve. first thing I asked was where he has played!? his answer was very typical ...online I mentioned to him that most towns have a local chess club and you would learn more in that environment than playing purely online? his answer was also typical well I play Blitz and Bullet and win some games!? so I invited him to a game 2 days per move! and his play was also typical his openings were 50/50 but his middle and endgames were quite weak i explained that it you have only ever played online Blitz and Bullet the two most important parts of his chess The Middle and Endgame will he weak and Joining a local over the board chess club and sitting down with an experienced club player will help his game improve, he said he would think about it!!
