There Are NO Trolls on Chess.com. Please Stop This Nonsense!

Trolls here seem to come in two kinds: funny or nasty.  Some treat this site like a local bar, to hang out and swap lies with everybody.  Others treat it like a schoolyard playground and have to bully people to feel cool.  But for the most part I've found good people here; just a few e-diots.

In another website, people were giving advice to other people. In jumped in and gave some advice. My advice was not looked upon well. Think I became a reknowned troll from that point on. And everytime I offered to leave, almost everyone INSISTED I stay, except for one anti-troll. And this anti-troll makes off topic trolls comments. Anyway, we began having a long running feud throughout the website and only once, when I hinted at stopping things, did the moderators make a comment. So this REALLY has me confused now. Troll behavior is frowned upon but when you stop, you get scolded for stopping ...

It doesn't matter. Trolling is now quite acceptable.

            Its the ebb & flow of the site. Sometimes the mods are just exahusted.

I guess trolling is the by-product of a multiple written conversation. In real life, if some starts to "troll" everyone else just gets rude with that person. Trolling in real life cannot exist whereas in a forum, all comments cannot be stopped.

The anti-trolls are trolls themselves. They first post mean comments to a troll and then they ask,"Look for one troll post of mine, idiot"

Yes, RonJC. I was surprised by how venomous your quote 36 appeared to be. Are you angry with someone? I think post 29 was just humor in the form of a clever pun, no hurt intended to anyone.
