yes, i,m always having the same problem, women just won,t leave me alone, i get really upset. and the worst part is when i tell people, they don,t believe me!
there was this twilight zone episode, where a guy was sent alone to an isolated planet to work for several years for this company. He was allowed to bring this robot that looked and acted exactly like a female in every way. I believe she even learned to play chess with him!! Then it came time for him to return, but the space ship bringing him back to earth, could only carry so much weight; so the ships captain takes out his pistol and shoots the female looking robot, and tells the guy, "it was just a machine, not a real woman, not a human being." Think about that folks....

I just googled "single women"there are 56,300,000 dedicated web pages available.If I was looking for a woman I wouldn't google CHESS.Skibaby get over yourself we are'nt always trying to get into a girls pants especially one thats a guy, most of the time we are, but not during chess.you should read Charles Darwin Origin of species .Its natural selection ,survival of the fittest, get it where you can while you still can .Thats what drives the world, post a picture of a beautiful girl in a shop window and i twould attract attention why should here be different.

i know of at least two people who met over the internet, one is now married to the person and has 2 kids, and the other is engaged.
personally, i think if two people strike up a solid friendship online, and feel there may be more there (i mean come on, you obviously have the same interests), then i think it is perfectly reasonable to say "hey, we live within 500 miles of each other, why not hook up for a coffee (long way to go for coffee i know, but i am making a point here, stay with me) or dinner?".
if there person says no then fair enough. christ, it is hard enough to find someone these days without saying "you must not say anything that can be construed as a come on, on this site, as its for chess and nothing else".
so, to sum up (
), if you like some one, tell them. if this has to be done over the internet, then do so BUT within reason!!!do not stalk people, be abusive etc, and who knows, you may end up like the people i mentioned at the start of this post!!!
I understand the good nature flirting which i guess is fine if both parties contribute but shouldn't you make sure you know whoyour talking to first

wow, i recently checked out the website of the current women's world chess champion, Alexandra Kosteniuk, at www.kosteniuk.com i think its really cool, and somewhat related to this topic, but that's just my opinion!!!
