It's 10:50 a.m. My profile shows my opponent has 21 minutes remaining to make his move. When I view the game, the clock shows 105 minutes remaining. If I view my opponents profile, it shows that there are 47 minutes remaining.
In my past experience, none of these times is the actual time remaining before the game times out. It has frequently reverted to "a few minutes remaining" and remained there, sometimes for hours.
I intend to track this to completion in this game and others. Regardless of the actual time the game times out, I'd appreciate an explanation from the website managers as to why the time clocks display different times.
I have two issues.
1. Ads pop up in the middle of the board and cannot be deleted. I can't see the playing board for the ad, and must terminate the game. That sucks.
2. NOW (I play 5 minute games) something is screwed up with the timer as about half way thru a game, (and I have 2+ minutes remaining) my time drops to zero and the game is awarded to my opponent because I have "timed out".
Both of these glitches, or annoyances are recent as for YEARS previously neither problem has occurred.
What's the deal?
