i won't complain ;)
To many ads? No?

There are other benefits to becoming a member besides getting those pesky ads removed, primarily that you may enter as many tournaments as you like. I think that's true anyway, but Erik, the poster above who created this site, would know better. Becoming a member also allows you unlimited access to the tactics trainer, a great learning tool. If you plan on playing a lot, membership is a great idea. Plus, since this is far and away the best chess site on the internet, you'd be supporting a great cause.

I got the joke--we're ad-obsessed Americans. I thought my little advertisement for the site was fitting for that reason, as well as for the fact that there are, I'm sure, many people who are seriously considering becoming members. I'm trying to get some of my own friends to pony up and become members. And besides, don't you want a little star by your name, Sir Knightly? That's the best perk of all.

Soon, very soon. As soon as I can afford it. You see, every time I scape up enough money to get myself a star, I have to go and blow it on something.
I don't know. Should I become a premium member? I think us Americans would miss all the ads! :)
