Trouble inserting chess analysis diagrams into vote chess

I am on Ubuntu using firefox.

I just have trouble getting the moves to progress / pieces to move.

But even though it's black's turn, when I try to move the pieces, it won't let me. What am I doing wrong?

Does it allow the opposite side to move instead? If so, then I encountered the same problem on my tablet. My solution was to make the moves rather than set the position, and then begin the game at the desired position (by setting a move to 'set begin').

Right WSama, I had a go in an even different way, and

wow, I actually made it work this time, after first doing set up board position>flip board, then I put cursor in the fen place, select with a>backspace, pasted the fen I had already copied and THEN i selected moves down the right bottom of the window, and it would let me put the pieces anywhere, even in illegal positions.

Thanks for the update. I might use that fix next time.

I found a similar way: set up the position, set turn to black or white, copy the FEN, close the diagram, open a new one and load position from FEN. It should work after that.

weird! am glad it worked that way also.
