If I upgrade to Diamond before the 15th do I get another t-shirt & Gold giveaway?
Well - no answer to my question but it was pretty obvious (no, not another free t-shirt etc). But I've gone for it anyway.
I suppose I'm in the lucky position of being able to afford Diamond membership which is well worth it for life - & I don't even use Tactics Trainer much.
My only regret is that I didn't do this when I could get $2 for £1 instead of a measly $1.48 :-)

How about charging $0.015 day after a 3 to 6 months trial period for those that do not want a membership or cannot afford it?
That is only $5 a year. Every one can afford this even a young player.
we have decided to not do lifetime memberships. there are several problems with them (lack of demand, accounting issues, legal stuff, etc).
as for the trial period, we have an entire site that has a ton of free stuff on it, and a cheap monthly gold membership. if a monthly membership at the price of a hamburger isn't cheap enough, nothing will be.
no hesitation, I will upgrate to Diamond after the change.

.y work experience as a technical manager most of my life was to solve problems, I was also a plant manager for 6 months of my life and very successfull as I worked with my dept managers and solved many problems and best, beat the cost index. I could not have any negative response, as a technical manager, but only new suggestions, which were not easy to come by at times, and this is why I relentlessly propose to you new avenues, as you keep saying : not enough money comes in, well listen to some of my suggestions, get the best out of it as this is like a brainstormingh session an do what you think is right.
i'm sorry, i gave a negative response without a thank you. i do appreciate your efforts and your ideas. we have considered them and weighed them and ultimiately decided against them. but that doesn't mean they are bad ideas or not worthwhile - you know that our best ideas come from the community. so, in short, thank you!!
we are no longer going to offer any memberships beyond 1 year at this point. we may re-consider in the future.
