anybody else notice the user interface totally changed for playing games?
didn't see any announcements about this.
playing moves feels different. all my settings were reset also.
audio for moves isn't working.
any advice?

What else has changed? I played games without noticing anything other than my own slowness.
chess.com the GAME engine interface. playing a game has been changed drastically overnight.
The buttons are different for the management of the game.
the overall ui is different.
it seems very very obvious (i'm a web developer) that they have changed the backend also which controls the user interface.
clicking on a piece to move it feels different - the response time is slower, the click area on a square has changed.
sometimes clicking a specific area of a square doesn't click the piece.
sometimes i click a piece 2 or 3 times and it doesn't register the click.
You might not be seeing the new user interface yet they might have only released it to a certain group of users.
when you get it you will know for sure because it looks and feels different.
can anyone else comment?

the same has happened to me. I play on desktop. Suddenly my ability to premove has disappeared. I probably can just change it in settings, but still, the interface is very annoying.

So somebody else is seeing this.
As I said they probably are previewing the new design to only a few users which is why some people don't see it.
All the settings are reset. You can premove by turning it on in settings again.
But the clicking of pieces & the response of the system to clicks has totally changed.
It does not work reliably.
I've lost multiple games on time because each move I have to spend 3 -4 seconds just to click the piece....
how can we report this to chess.com developers as a bug?

clicking a piece- show legal moves shows incorrect moves.
for example during opening. it shows that a horse can step ontop of a pawn which is wrong
clicking actual pieces feels different (the interface doesn't register a click as quickly).
all my settings were reset also.
would be nice if the chess.com developers could look into this
