Ways for Chess.com to improve

I am not a member, and I never will be until these things are corrected.

1. Allow for an easy way to block cheaters. For example, a button right beside resign and draw.

2. Allow for me to abort a game (before any moves are made) in the case where the person is OBVIOUSLY a cheater. For example, his highest rating at 3 minute is 1521, but his highest win is against a 2050 player. Chess.com took away my ability to abort games, and I never aborted a single game unless it was a cheater, or the person refused to play their first move.

3. Do not take off ANY time for a premove.

4. How could 14,587 people be online, and only 15 people be on the board offering a game!? Something isn't right there. Can I not see all the games offered because I am not a member, or is that number bs?

Are you saying that you don't think Chess.com will ever make any of these changes?

Did you cheat when as a 1500 player you beat a 1950 player? Or is the 400 difference within your plausible without cheating range?

Dude, you need to get a life.

I stopped being a premium member 3 years ago, when I realized chess.com wasn't serious in his fight against cheaters.

Live chess 960 would be pretty cool :)

for sure. i requested that 3 years ago, but chess.com has not made it a reality, despite saying at the time that they were working on it.

yes, i did cheat on that game. and the ability to block me should be there. i am not above the rules. no one is. i had just gotten my 1st engine and i was curious about it.

these days, i cheat ONLY on games where players are obviously cheaters, but i do feel as if it's a huge waste of my time. i would much rather just not play the game, but chess.com pressures me to play against a multitude of cheaters with the "Don't abort games" message, and eventually the removal of the Abort option.

so, i play a lot of bullet, because it's much harder for someone to cheat playing bullet.

Why don't try OTB? Give it a chance.

I'm a cheater.  I will not become a premium member until chess.com does something about cheaters!

1. You can do it from chat, don't you?

2. If chess.com finds out someone is cheater they ban him

3. Possible, but need to change all premove conception(make it on server instead of client)

4. There is no way to see people offering standard game - it's automatical pairing. And, probably, most of people online are playing, not seeking game

And it might not be that members are cheaters for beating a person 500 points higher. Lucky days happen.

That's why I recommend him to try OTB. I think he needs to learn a couple of things about this game. I sometimes think the internet generation lives in a world of its own.

what do you mean OTB? where?

OTB = Over the board. Playing with real people with real boards. No more of this crazy stuff (engines, blocks, mouse slips). Lots of fun and very helpful.

But for some reason PinForkSmother7 has not yet been detected as a cheater by chess.com.

Maybe they can ban him after his own confession.

i know what it stands for, buti thought you were suggesting some option on the site, or online in general. i would love to play OTB. it is my favorite, but it is very hard to find people who want to play. convenience is a huge factor. most of the people i know don't know how to play chess and don't want to know.
