What are Trolls?

If you look through the forums once a day, almost every day, you will find a forum that mentions trolls.  What exactly is a troll?  Please do not answer by saying, "a troll is a fairy tale character".

Being under the age of 13 does not constitute a troll.

A troll is someone you vote for, like Macer, or a Republican, or something like that.

At least not a good troll. A good troll needs to be old enough to make cultural references to things that happened 30 years before other members were even born.

seriously, most people do not troll threads that are serious and on topic, at least until topic has come to a conclusion.  Any regular here has to see that some forum topics are just begging for it and were never serious to begin with.  

I do agree that it should be the case that Premium members should have members only section with a way block users or delete unwanted posts.  It would improve credability and then their would be sort of a "kids section" js
