What engine does chess.com use?

It's a company secret.   People are always asking this question and I have never seen an answer.

Probably some kind of Komodo they have a deal with them i think .

Default is Stockfish 12 ( without NNUE). 

Option to choose komodo 13.2 as well.

i used stockfish and they gave away different results lol

Engines change variation depending on depth, hardwares and time. 

Even with same engine and same specifications may show different variation in another search/ analysis due to randomness factors in search. 

There are hundreds different version of Stockfish.
