Probably my 3 favorites would be the Staunton, Tigers, and Space. Although right now my favorite one is the one I designed for myself, I screenshotted it from Jane's WWII Fighters q=)

I use glass and marble, especially for the sounds. Space background is good as well.

Am I the only one that feels stuck with the default chess.com one they learned the game on? I've tried the blue and white levy style streams. It feels bland to me but so does the default green and white but I feel like i play better on that one but I bet it is all in my mind?

you probably play worse on one theme than another because you are not used to the other theme and that makes it hard to see the pieces and position.

Totally Agree! I feel a bit stuck with the default because the video lessons are all in that style, you can't change that. Then it changes when the challenges start and it totally throws me....but I just thought surely people have customized to like a Batman theme. I could see Levy Rosman having some fun with that if he could get a license...
