it isn't ads that are causing the problem here. Being redirected to odd sites is the problem.
The reason i mentioned the ads, is because it's either to do with the ads, or it's something on your computer. I don't think it's the ads either btw. Is it still doing it?
yesterday was the last time it happened. I sent erik the sceenshot of the site and the link for the site maybee he got something done about it.

No. I only noticed it yesterday and earlier today. When I posted about it, it had just happened again. Since that time it hasn't happened.

in my opinion you might have accidentally hit a drop down ad
I know i didn't hit an ad my mouse was over my game. I do not have spyware i scanned for that already I know it has something to do with chess.com it only happens here.(erik, did you get the screenshot i emailed you?)

Happened to me too, except it sent me to a Christian Bookstore site or something like that.
Thanks for the into. The pages it sends you too seem to be random. I've been every were. Tell erik what happened so he'll know its not my computer.

why does it do this? maybe they can contain a virus?
it's not a virus. i have scanned for them-nothing. It still happens but not as often.
oh ... i wonder why that happens ... maybe its 2 tell us it about time we upgraded our account lol
