Where are all the Chinese players?

Hi

Just thought I'd never played a Chinese player on here.

I know India's population now bigger, but seeing as there's zero lack of Indian players (why do so many have no avatars?)

Then I have to guess the Chinese find Chess com is outside the Great Firewall, and have their own chess sites/apps?

No it’s just that there is 6 hours time difference between the uk and china so when u play thé Chinese are sleeping or having lunch

Just kidding. But it's not the time zone and, I Googled it, Chess.com is not a restricted site and no, they do not have a different, more popular platform. It's a cultural thing. In China, Go, Shogi and Xiangqi (Chinese chess), are all more popular than chess.
