Man! I am so amazed that no one is ever compelled to say Good Game after a long hard match! I do it all the time and seldom get a response. Are people really that clueless about common sportsmanship.......? Jeeze!

I also never ever get people who really say GG ;/ I tend to say it after someone stomped me, or just type well played etc.

In the game and in these forums, I've met the most problematic people in my whole life.
I just open the analysis window as soon as it's over, and close the game window next. Most players leave as well. The few times someone has talked to me was just to be toxic. Saying "GG" really adds nothing, it does not change the result in any shape or form. Really not necessary and some players may even think they are being mocked (especially if they lost)

I can guarantee you that 99.9% of the people that act like idiots online will NOT act that way in person. Anonymity can be a powerful thing.
If someone says good game in person, nicely, then they mean it. I will also say good game if it were OTB.

Yeah, many people aren't really interested in chatting, just playing. Sometimes I will chat, but rarely. If someone tells me gg though, I will probably respond, but many times after the game I am already playing a new one

I simply cant because my chat is off permanently. But in former times i never said gg first. It means different when win and lose.
If you lose and say gg i think you are expecting a "you lost but you played good" kind of response.. or you take gg in that meaning.
If you win and say gg then.. well.. hard to tell that exactly.. it is like 'talking down'.. like 'maybe next time' attitude..
So i always stayed silent but 'sometimes' i respond a gg with a gg.. when i feel no other implication attached..
well i know im a bit hard to get along with.. but hey i do nothing actually its all in my head
