YouTube Tryouts!

For those interested in streaming to our twitch channel, the criteria is not nearly as *restrictive* to stronger players, in that way. SO please post if you think you'd like to play a few hours, once a week, while commentating to our streaming twitch channel.
As of now I will post that the official winner of the YouTube Tryout is...
*drum roll*
To be announced shortly ...
LOL! I know that was cruel... BUT I want to confirm that the *winning candidate* is interested and accepts our terms before making it official.
Thanks!
Danny
If I am one of the winners, I accept! :) Thanks for your time.

Confirming interest! Mucho grande interest.....herslichen groBen interessenieren sieren...balshoj interesseria.....gríðarlegur áhugi...
YES I am very interested and in many many languages I don't speak!

I should probably add that I am experimenting with "twitching" as well: http://www.twitch.tv/zibbit64

Re-confirming intrest!
I'm only a novice, but I do have experience streaming chess on twitch! If you're ever interested in doing some sort of amateur-hour on the twitch channel, I'm your guy!

And I'm familiar with most of the hardcore chess following that's on twitch!

Hi everyone!
Wow! This has been *quite* the journey. To be honest, we had NO idea we would get this kind of response when we started this "tryout" thread. It became clear right away that so many of you were going to work *really* hard to create some awesome content for us to review... you made my job of choosing a *winner* extremely difficult, and in the process you proved once again that Chess.com has the greatest community of supportive, "genuinly in love with the game" online chess players in the world!
I want to apologize for taking so long to make a decision here... so long that many of you probably thought I/we forgot . But like I said, you gave us lots to review (from both titled players making videos to non-titled players) and we devoted as many of our resources to reviewing the content and picking a winner as we possibly could. OK Erik, I know this was my fault
- so *I* devoted as much time as I** possibly could, and it did take too long... Sorry guys.
So, thank you again to everyone who tried out. Before announcing the winner I want to give a special thanks to a large group of "runner-ups" (if I am missing a name - please don't take it personally):
- aww-rats;
- TVEDAS;
- Zibbit;
- TigerLilov;
- Bobbylow;
- SamCopeland;
- Illingworth;
- testviking;

There were a number of factors we weighed, but in the end I think even the runner-ups would acknowledge we made a good choice. We hope it works out, and we hope Daniel has lots of fun, while also making great videos for us! Unfortunately, there is limited room on our Youtube channel, and we all have a budget to work with - so hiring everyone was simply NOT an option...
PS -- I was NOT joking about our plans for a very active, totally awesome, extremely entertaining "Chess.com Twitch.TV Channel" in the coming months. Those listed as runner-ups here, and anyone who feels they deserve another chance to show off their multi-tasking, trash talking, entertaining-the-masses-skills, while also playing blitz on Chess.com - send me a message!
The exact details of what we will offer our "Twitchers" is not clear yet, but if you're already playing hours of blitz each week on Chess.com, and you want an outlet to build a following, have some fun, gain some new students along the way... and maybe even prove Danny wrong -- livecasting your games on Twitch might be for you...
Thanks everyone!
Danny

Great Job squarology! I like your articles very much, instructional with wittiness, it is a superb combination! for the runner-ups thank you for the effort and your love for chess.

Congratulations Daniel! Definitely a great choice by Chess.com.
I'm a fan myself and am very much looking forward for your videos :)

Very good Daniel, uh, both Daniels. Good selection Danny Rensch & congratulations Daniel Tapia. Although there were so many good videos from others also & we all know who they are. Also Danny, I think it was actually good to take a while to make a choice because it let the members here see many more videos & choices than they would have otherwise & it gave you guys more to choose from. Thanx, Damon

Congrats to squarology! Thanks to the multitudes of members who supported my efforts. My videos will continue!

even though its over, dig this my chess friends,
