You can only embed videos from sites like YouTube. Copy the link to your video, click the 'Insert/edit media' button in the text editor, paste the link in the 'source' field, and pop.
For images, click on 'Insert image', and you can choose a file on your device or provide an external link.

I am a long time on chess.com. I always had some pictures or quotes or videos from YouTube, on my profile. Couple months ago all my ( important) pictures disappeared. I asked mr Martin to explain it to me, but I suppose he was to busy to answer. I can’t let go, I have to know why? Today I tried to put a video again. I succeeded. But when I tried to put one more music video, the other one disappeared. They just deleted the other one!
Is there something changed that we don’t know in that last update with so much nonsenses? If so, it would be nice to communicate, instead to delete all our stuffs!! I’m not so young and not so handy on internet , I’m not shamed, but something changes too much and too often. I’m just curious are there more ( oldest) who have same problem? Maybe youngest too?
@Mirjana_k there recently had been a major big that caused problems with profiles. While the both was in place, if members made changes, then it's possible that content was lost. For a small number of members, content may have been lost while fixing the bug
As part of the fix a new editor implemented, for updating the bios. I'm not aware of it limiting the number of video embeds, though I believe there is a maximum amount of content that can be inserted.

I want to put a video on my profile too. But, I have no idea how to do this.
Can any of you helf me out?
