YouTube Tryouts!

These videos are free-to-view unlike chess.com's own efforts which start off free for a minute or so till a paywall descends.  Good luck to all submitters - I read faster than I watch/listen to videos.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who posted here. I have already reviewed lots actually, but I think we should let the people speak!

So, all those willing to help us get better and better and bring you the best FREE content on YouTube possible, please let every comment after my comment here be a ranking of YOUR favorite posts of people who gave their video for us to consider. Give us your top 10? Top 5? etc?

Technicalities aren't so important yet, just who you liked best...

on your mark, get set... GO!

Thanks in advance to everyone who helps us with this!

I think that maybe the next chess.com poll should be on these videos without us knowing who did which video and that the top ten (or whatever the staff chooses) should be selected as winners, but to ask for one winner is a bit too much with all the great videos.

1. aww-rats' channel. (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCj2og46wYLUkiDEX7Mp5P-Q)

That's pretty much it for me.

aww-rats has entertaining videos, they are very instructive, and they are all free.

He has so many more awesome games to share, and so much more knowledge! He is definitely the best!

My vote is for Ingvar Johannesson (zibbit) who has been producing great vids for chessvideos.tv for years.

Well, kudos should go out to all the submitters, but especially to chess.com for tricking these titled players into making free stuff for the peasants.

After checking out all the submissions, my favorite is Zibbit b/c his comments for me are the most instructive and flow the most naturally.  Most of the others just sound unnatural like they are either not used to doing this or trying too hard to excite the audience.  Of course, this is one of the things that other presenters could improve with more practice/experience.  Just my opinion.

Good luck to all.  Remember to "attack this endeavor with enthusiasm unknown to mankind", as said by the great philosopher J. Harbaugh.

Since I have picked up a few votes from my older videos, I thought I would make a new one, showing exactly what I can offer chess.com and the community. The result of the game isn't important to me, it's what instructional concepts I can share in a video that will last 10 minutes. I just made this in Live Chess:

Vote should it be!

Zibbit (FM Ingvar Thor Johannesson) has the know-how, the fun factor, the teacher element and is also a great blitz player.

I vote for Zibbit!
