Here's SF8 at G120+3 trying both sides of a 50 move mate.
I did get a version of Rybka about 15 years ago with an "e" (for endgame) on the end of its version number that could probably have managed it without using an EGTB, but haven't come across anything else. (I suspect SF11 may be able to given the same time control.)
Computer level 10 can't beat the 2 Knights vs Pawn checkmate drill.

I made the computer play the drill after attempting it myself.
Turns out it couldn't beat it either, so I figured the checkmate is too hard for the computer to beat itself.
So I set up the analysis board with the exact same scenario but I'm the one playing as black vs computer level 10. I just made random king moves until the game ended in a draw due to the 50 move rule.

How come that not even the computer can beat it and not even beat me when I'm just making random moves?
