Crazy Endgame Scores

Hi all,

I was just wondering how in Chess.com's new Endgames feature, there are so many people completing these exercises in absolutely crazy times. For instance, I was checking out the 2 rooks endgame section, and was astounded to find that the top scores were like this:

How is it even possible to complete something like this in a matter of seconds? I was trying my best to blaze through all 5 problems and could barely complete them in under 30 secs. Any tips? Are they automating moves?

Just curious - I know that these scores don't really matter tongue.png

Memorize puzzles and premove all the moves I think.

I think most of those people memorize the problems thoroughly and then just premove everything. Although, I could be wrong because the computer could still take an insanely long time to “think” in that scenario.

@useless_egirl is probably not that useless then

The mates, are a lot simpler then you think memorize those and you can easily drop the time and of course premoving.

cheating obviously. i doubt even the 9 seconds ones are possible even if you memorize all 5 problems and repeat it ..

but the ones faster than that are just disappearing soon after being submitted.

just seen one hit 2 seconds.. hit refresh and its gone.

I do not understand many of the rules of the site even though I have read them all

Yeah, just the sheer time of the computer responding seems to be longer than 6 seconds for me lol

Fantome recently learned that mobile allowed for faster moves and that’s how it’s 6 seconds
