End Games and Ratings

I gave many games away within the last two weeks due to a non-existent end game, thus recently started end game training this weekend and broke my losing streak.

At what rating did you guys started end game training?

I started at probably 800 when I learned the basic endings

As for actual training, I have yet to do much of that but the bulk probably came when I was 1400 & learned some more advanced endings and checkmates

I started not too long ago because i am trying to get out of my 100 rating to become 1200

I am also learning more tactics and opening

I meant 1000 rating

I recently started end game training so 1600 is my answer.

I spent a couple of months to focus on my rapid climb. 1600 was long over due.

Didn’t matter, my performance rating was 1900 this week.

I could of cherry picked an easier game, but I wanted to do it in style.

Time to take a break from playing and take my dogs for adventures.
