Possibly many of us have seen one or more or those but they did not stand out when they occurred. We have probably finished our lunch and went back home at five but I doubt we told our families about the incredible experience of the 7 piece checkmate during lunch break. It's not that kind of thing.
Accepted, but if its common, then how do I find a fairly famous game with such an end position if I had the need? And a famous position (or at least played by some grand master)? I'm hoping some chess player found the position interesting enough to recall it. I realise what is interesting to me may not coincide with many others' interests.
Do you know if there is any famous (or real for that matter) checkmate position with exactly 7 pieces, namely the two Kings, a Queen, a Bishop, a Knight, a Castle and a Pawn? The colors do not matter...
