Puzzle #4 (Crazy Crossyroad I call it)

I never made a mistake. Normal chess rules don’t apply in that puzzle so it was okay for that to happen.

I have seen loads of "joke" problems"and none of them are based on the "anything goes" concept. There is commonly 1 thing or 1 rule wrong and not like 10 things. That would take the joke out of the challenge. In this one, the last thing anyone would do is omit the white king as this is unnecessary to make the joke problem work. But perhaps you are right and is this the reason I never saw this creation before. A shoulder shrugger.

There was certainly a mistake in the diagram as Arisktotle surmised. Here's the original problem position, which has a WK on "b6" (not a Q) and a WP on "a5". Eight WPs are needed to ensure that the white-squared bishop on "a8" couldn't have been promoted nor escaped from "f1". Hence for the position to be legal, White must be moving down the board.

Thx Rocky, your mining skills are invaluable! This diagram I could tolerate on the entertainment wall.

I studied it but did not solve it. But it's a great pawn ending, Love it!

Okay. I suprisingly got that position in one of my own over the board 3-min chess games as White and I found the winning move in around 14 seconds.

The game continued:

45.d4 ed 46.ed cd 47.a5 ba 48.b5 ab 49.cb Ke7 50.b6 Kd7 51.b7 Kc7 52.g5 hg 53.f5 gf 54.h5 a4 55.h6 a3 56.h7 h2 57.b8=Q+ KxQ 58.h8=Q+ (1-0) {I played move 58 when I had only 1 second left and my opponent resigned on half a second left.}

A couple of things (or maybe more, I don't want to be accused of lying):

1. You didn't solve the puzzle, the puzzle "solves" itself, as there's only one legal move per turn.

2. It is supposed to be a joke. This concept (joking) can be googled, like en passant for example.

3. Clickbait? Then why did you click if you are not a master to begin with?

4. Here's another puzzle for you: life a get.
