No one can solve this puzzle even GMHikaru!

Most people here don't have a clue what it means to solve a puzzle.
First of all you are not allowed to make a single mistake underway. You can't play a move, see that it is wrong and replace it with a better one. No, you failed, forever and ever - just as you would if you played the wrong move in a game.
Second, you ought to see the whole solution before you played the first move. That is what really strong players and solvers always do, not invent them on the go. Mistakes are often made in the first moves and this is the only preventive medicine.
But that's not always true. I agree that's probably the way it SHOULD be solved. But in practice, just like in a real game, that's not always the way it works. In games, just like trying to solve a puzzle, if there is a time limit it's not always practical to envision the solution all the way to the end. In real games occasionally I have seen what appears like a promising position and possibility, but I dont see it all the way to the end.
So I make the first move or two and do exactly what you said, sometimes invent it as I go. A mistake doesn't always lead to a loss. And there have been plenty of times when I have seen it all the way through, and still lost.

I highly agree with IfPatriotGames. Games work how people decide they will play them, not a certain sequence every game. It end up being boring that way.
