I would advise all players to learn the tablebases by heart. No need to cheat by turning off the Cam. Integrating tablebase training with rook endings and distant opposition has proven to deliver the best results. Essential is to keep your focus - for about 2,000,000 years.

If you don't legitimately have the skills to win, that's the only reason you would want to use a tablebase, and at that point you're virtually arguing why you shouldn't be allowed to use a chess engine for any moment in a game you don't understand: cheating.
