The Dreaded Double Deacon Endgame - Leapfrog with Catholicism!

Hello everyone!

One of the more complicated endgames in chess is the Double Bishop and King vs Bare King. Unlike King and Rook, The Bishops cannot guard eachother DIRECTLY (more on that Later) and they have no horizontal capabilities. However, in the Summer of 2022, I stumbled across a method that is so stupid looking, but by pure miracle, a reliable method in order to checkmate. 

First things first: X marks the spot.


What does this mean? Basically, each color reperesents where your bishops should be and what direction they'll face. They should be TOGETHER. When your bishops are on these squares in the CORNER, You will NOT mate them on the opposite corner. Instead, get your king on the side OPPOSITE the enemy King. You will use your king as you need to.
