Now there’s war…

3 Equals… three brother in arms… where; 1 stands tall, 1 to fall, other 1, crawl the floor as 'f there is no war at all.

Now the question follows how to save the king from the jaws of the gallows

as not to feed him to the crows at the hassling hissle of the sizzling whistles of arrows as they leave the bows and the heave & hove of the mighty hooves at the huff & puff of the toughs & roughs falling from the heightiest of mightiest of bluffs and bending the broken scruffs of the scrubiest of scrubs… either with your wits affords or the engines at your boards…

1. Who stands Tall
2. Who's to crawl
& who's neither to win nor to fall

As the white as snow are the dices to roll

3 Brother at Arms That's all there's to know

This 1 is a tribute to the greatest Doctor there is, MBC the Great! diamond.png

The black king is in dire straights to meet up with his troops and lead them to victory. The speed of his royal stallion however is no match for the long distance cannon ball the enemy is preparing to interfere with his journey. He is destined to fall at the very gate where he planned his reunion. Such is the fate of a warring king!

That is the glorious narrative of “1 who’s standing tall”… but that is not all there is to tell… feed us with the rest… "a" done , 2 more to go...

… or to put it plainly:

There are 3 objectives on the puzzle-menu as white's launching the onslaught:

Which pawn-push is TO

-          1) Win

-          2) Draw

-          3) Lose

I see, it's so sad. History is written by the victor while the lesser actors fade from the records. We all know Alexander the great - who begifted me my middlename - but who heard of his brother Brontes who barely survived as a scribe for the Hellenic fleet and the 3rd sibling Charon who perished when he landed his warship on the wrong square? Their tales were told but nobody knows how much of it is true. Let's put our trust in the gods to write their deeds of courage in the annals of Zeus stored in the chamber of wars on the Olympus. All are remembered.

Ain't Alexander The Greats middle name "The"?

Ur middle name is The?

Arisktotle

Actually, my middle name is "TheOne" but I think that's a bit fat so I shrunk it to "The".

DreamscapeHorizons

Good idea.

Wiser words, never said! diamond.pngplayhand.pngwink.png

My late father’s name is also Alexander and he was as much if not more a “pain-in-the-you- know-where” as the real deal, and indeed, YES the history is a subject riddled with alzheimer's. An Alzheimer’s inclined to heed the victors and dictators rather than other sectors with others with other indicators…

Even "wk.png wn.png-Lover the father of Xander, has not received as much praise as his son. Actually it was HIM/HE who created the fighting force that made a tourist out of Xander and handed him the “itinerary” to his “Gulliver’ian adventures”, all before the time of zeppelins or the charter that took a certain young man to “the Dam”, well noted. He was killed before he could… you know. A LEAP O’ FAITH? Ohhh surprise.png hence F-A-LEAP-O’ tongue.png

Now, not all Xandy siblings were anonymous according to the will of the “Olympian deities”. Charon is now a “wet-bus-driver to Venizian Neverland’s” But I do not recommend you to take a hike on his “one-way-ticket-gondola”. ‘Though click “HERE ON CHARON” and see & hear for yourself. You will love this ride on the trip to the “Mire-Landian Kingdom”! Da-da-da DAAA Da-da-da-DAAA ... Da-da-darada-DAAA...happy.pnggrin.pngevil.png

Thx! Did you know Xander was a pupil of Aristotle? I never figured out from which of the two I reincarnated wink.png

Btw, those old videos remind me of the state of my hair. Every year my envy grows by about 10%frustrated.png

Of course he was! How would he else "unloose" the Gordian Chess Puzzle? meh.png

I never figured out from which of the two I reincarnated.

Aristotle because the name you bear. Xander because of your commanding nature.

That is the luxury of the ones being too brainy! wink.png

Oh no! Two of those aren't in puzzle form! sad.png.

I'll guess, I could not muster enough courage as to ask people 2 get all worked up & facing the prospect of playing a losing game, not alone a drawing one which is even worse! However a very valid question... Thank you 4 that!

Illbtu

However 4 you my dear friend...  wink.png
