Only a GM would be able to prove that 1+1=3. Aren't they great?
Triple Checkmate!!!

i'm pretty sure its impossible, you can get double checkmate with a discovery, but where would the third mate come form?
yeah
yeah +1

Triple-check is impossible in legal positions. As solflores927 already mentioned, double-check is the highest number of simultaneous checks possible, and this requires that one piece moves to deliver check, while uncovering a second checking piece (discovered check). The moving piece can only uncover one straight line to the enemy king, not two.
Closest thing to a triple checkmate would be something like:
Discovered check where the piece that moved places the King in check and the discovered check is from a piece that is part of a 2 piece battery. Example, Knight moves and places King in check. The resulting discovered check is from a Queen on a diagonal with a Bishop behind the Queen on the same diagonal that is a part of a Queen and Bishop battery. If the 2nd check was from a piece that is part of a 3 piece battery, would be sort of like a quadruple checkmate.
Great example of the very rare "double discovered check" that is also a double checkmate.

I was wondering is this possible? I've seen a few double checkmates, yet only a top GM would be able to get a triple checkmate. If anyone has any examples of love to see them! ♟
ah yes, it's impossible for an IM or a standard GM to complete the triple checkmate. Only possible for a top GM to accomplish.
