Which are better for the endgame: knights or bishops?

it depends upon the position of the end game in the board. For closed positions Knight is better than Bishop as it jumps and go around.

I would say knights are better than bishops, largely because Sir Paul McCartney is a better person than Bishop Lawrence Donald Soens

Because bishops can only go on one square color while knights can only go 3 squares a move

Once the process are off the board, the bishop can move far fast while the knight can only move two in one direction and one in another
