Well, I figured I might post about this as it's probably the only good thing that's happened in the last 4 or 5 months as far as my chess goes. But a milestone is a milestone, I suppose. Just spent the night studying puzzles and realizing that I was recognizing a couple more things, so some progress there.

Anyway, many good vibes to you all. Nothing but the best. 🙏

Congratulations. I am still struggling between 2500 and 2575 puzzle rating. How do you manage to attain 2700 ?

@JokerBen

Mainly I play puzzles when I'm not doing well with actual chess. And I mean I do a lot of them. The ones that force me to think for a long while I end up studying longer. But yeah, just study And consistency. I honestly think it's the repetition that helps The most because I am recognizing tactics and patterns That I wouldn't have recognized 6 months ago.

Yaaay congratulations! Told you you were incorrect in feeling you had stagnated chess-wise. I really believe your ability is there and you will be helped by being more optimistic.

Funny btw you're still posting in the beginner forum; 2700 isn't a beginner puzzle rating imo :D
