400 to 850 in 3 months

I have been playing here everyday for 3 months now. So, I was wondering if my rate of improvement is okay. I will really appreciate if you guys can tell us how many points you gain in 3 months or whatever time frame u wish.

also analyze all the games that you play here! And learn from the mistakes. Ensure that you do not repeat them in your future games.

Also the amount of rating you gain depends on how you practice!

If you practice hard and follow the tips I just gave you your chess.com rating will increase to at least 1700 by July 2020

Hey! That's awesome improvement happy.png I started a year ago, at 600, and it took me basically the same amount of time as you to get to 850 happy.png Keep it up!

I am 18 BTW. Thanks for the suggestion. I do tactics everyday and have been improving but I still blunder a lot during game and that's what I am trying to put a stop to.

From what I gathered. Openings doesn't really matter at my level. I stopped freaking out about it when I read it somewhere..still, I learnt Sicilian, London, Italian, Ruy Lopez and few others

Astounding improvement. Most of us have to do something drastic to bump up the rating 400 points, like get a brain transplant. For me, I quit drinking, then watched my blitz rating climb about 300 points. Pretty much a brain transplant.
