If you want to improve your rating,then I will suggest you to play 2-3 rapid game.Use chess free to gain 1400-1500 rating first then join online chess world
Just be glad you are not having a loosing streak such as you read in so many other threads.

What could explain a really bad losing streak? I haven't won a game since yesterday and I am struggling to find why this is. I played at a high school tournament and managed to pull off an impressive draw but then I just went on a downhill spiral. How do I reverse this?
