Good video! I have been studying the Pirc Defense for months and playing it against 1. e4. It can lead to some very sharp middle games and, when played well, can keep white uncomfortable throughout the game.
Beginner Chess Guide | Most Typical Mistakes #3
How do you make chess seem so simple but yet over the top. You are as I have always stated. You are the star. Thank you, I will watch this and learn more, you are fantastic.
I love the Pirc, play it all the time. One of the advantages used to be opponents were unfamiliar with it. Most beginners concentrate on e4/d4 openings and e5/d5 responses; b6 is less common and appears to be a weak move (but is not). But, more experienced players tend to be more familiar with it, so it is harder to win with. Nevertheless, I still play the Pirc.
Nice video explaining some of the reasoning behind the Pirc. Thank you.
