there is a club called beginners and masters
Beginners Nook- what’s the ideal club for beginners?

I would be greatly interested. I have not found such a club here yet.
Some ideas:
* Get your games analyzed: beginners annotate/analyze games they’ve played, and others (e.g. stronger players) can give feedback catered to the person’s level.
* analyze a position: often I encounter a position where I have no clue what to do next. People can present such positions, and others can give pointers…
* daily games which we can analyze together later
* I’ve seen arenas/tournaments in other clubs, but they’re usually blitz or some other short format, which is not useful for beginners. Maybe a longer time control tournament could be useful and fun (10 min, 15|10, whatever)
* maybe some book club format where a group goes through a book together (one chapter per week, something like that)
Today I was thinking wouldn’t it be great to have a club where beginners can join and meet up with other beginners or experienced players to get advice, feedback on games, maybe free coaching at times? A club that’s dedicated to helping beginners improve and have fun with chess? Feel part of a community that’s closer knit that a board chess site with thousands of players almost all that don’t know you?
I’d be happy to help get such a club going, but I’m unfamiliar with clubs and definitely would want help with it. More importantly, what would the club need to feature to be worthwhile to beginners? Would there be interest? Share your thoughts either here or message me directly.
Have a great time with chess!
