Best Method for Improvement

Hi,
I would like to think I'm not too bad at puzzles (rated ~2000).
This doesn't always translate well in gameplay as I struggle to create puzzle-like endgames.
With 2 kids I struggle to make time for Rapid so have started playing Daily games. I could squeeze in some Blitz but I'm not sure that's the best way to get better?
I know it's better to improve using slower time controls first - so without having rapid as an option, are Daily games a good option?
Any recommendations/tips for learnings would be appreciated.
