Best Move

Is it possible in Chess.com or some other program to set up a position and have the computer calculate the best move? I have opening positions I am unsure of.

Yes it's the analysis function. But I wouldn't recommend using for openings because computers aren't very good at evaluating opening positions. What you should use is the database which will give you an idea of which moves are popular and how successful they are.
