Hello all;

From a training perspective which computer program plays more in "human style" that would help you in long time control training games. One of the reason for this question is the difficulty finding people willing to commit for longtime control games. Does the level you play the software has to do with its behavior?

Thank you all for your answers

There are a couple of places where you can find long games, including the following three clubs

  • G30 club -
    • Past tourneys -
    • 2 Round Swiss, 30/10 every Monday at 11:05 am ET (and sometimes at 8:05pm ET)
  • Dan Heisman Learning Center -
    • Past Tourneys -
    • 2 Round Swiss, 30/30, current schedule is 3 times per weekday: 9am, 12pm, and 7:30pm ET
  • Slow Chess League -
    • Past tourneys -
    • 2 Round Swiss, 45/45, every Sat/Sun around 12:30 pm

I might add, I've not had a problem doing one of those "open seek" kind of things finding people who are looking for 30, 45, 60, and 90 minutes games.
