Good job, keep going. While the Queen sack and bishops mate would have been a nice ending at least you pulled through for the win.
Finally broke 900 tonight

Well there have been many highs and even more lows. I started at the end of January at 373 Elo which after I've gone back and looked is the lowest point I've ever been at in chess. I am by no means satisfied. I have a lot of work to do. It's time to grind it out and go for that coveted 1000. My end goal in this whole thing is to reach 1500 - 2000. I have no illusions of grandeur or that I am anything special when it comes to chess. It's a matter of dedication and hard work. And I'm willing to put forth both in my efforts to be a decent chess player. This game has done a lot for me. In recent months, I've gone through certain trials that have tested me to my breaking points. Thankfully, I ended up finding chess to help center me.
I don't mean to be all sappy and annoying, but I am genuinely happy in regards to things I've been able to learn and how far I've come in a few months.
Anyway, it wasn't a pretty game in my opinion, but I'll let you be the judge of that.
Well wishes to all.
P.S
I'm kind of sad that I missed the opportunity to sacrifice my queen and checkmate my opponent on move 16 or 17. I just didn't see it.
