Interesting. I barely know anything about b6 in the French.
French defense.

Interesting. I barely know anything about b6 in the French.
Yeah... I barely do know too.
But this GM player guarantees that in this case the Black position would be very defensible.
Also he doesn't advice the move Knight c6... in French defense.
He said that Knight d7 would be better.
It would be better from the point of view of positional CHESS.

Don't necessarily expect great results with that system right away though until you learn more about it through playing it, and perhaps losing with it for a little while. This is really no different than any other new opening system one tries. Just because a GM recommends it doesn't mean one can just win with it automatically right away. It must be learned first. And if the system isn't for you and doesn't fit your style abandon it, regardless of the GM recommendation.

Bryan, many people here complain in this section of the forum. I want to complain too.
Something happend to my playing during the last month.
I constantly get the weak position after the openning of the game.
Especially if I play Black pieces.
I see many good possible moves for my opponent... because my position has a few " holes"... but I don't see none good move for me.
This is why I start to watch GM's streams on chess.com
Maybe this thing will help me. )

Where black's white-squared bishop belongs in the French defence depends on the variation. In the advance variation the b8 knight goes to c6 and the bishop goes to d7. In the exchange variation black can play Ne7 and Bf5 to counter white's bishop. In some Winawer variations black plays b6 followed by Ba6 to try to exchange white-squared bishops.

Makes complete sense.

Who is that GM Chessweeds?
There is no such member in chess dot com or streaming in some known place.
Where did he make this claim?
A GM does not make such claims, even if he is smoking weeds.
I am sure you did not understand what he said.

Yes... thank you... that man whose stream I watched... and who told how we should play French defence rightly... his name is Denes Boros.
I don't know who he is by nationality.

Man, why do you think that I don't understand what he said about French defence right playing?
Denes Boros speaks english very slow and clear.
He said... "After standard beginning of French defence... play pawn b6... then Bishop goes on b7... but black Knight moves onto d7 instead c6. In this case your position will be more solid. But many people play French defence in the other way... and their position is not so solid". )

Just cause he said it's the "right way" to play the French doesn't mean it is. Most people play it differently.

Ok. Every man has his own opinion.
But notice that his rating is one thousand points higher than yours. )

The only relevant video I have found is one of the Rubinstein French, which is a completely different animal than the ummm... normal French.
In the Rubinstein, you do NOT have a blocked center, the b8 knight does belong to d7, and the c8 bishop probably at b7, but playing ...b6 and ...Bb7 early on is easier said, than done.
GM Chessweeds told how to play French defense rightly.
Very many players don't know that.
Key moves for Blacks. Pawn b6... and then white color squares Bishop moves onto b7 square.
GM Chessweeds explained that only in this way the Black position would be solid.
I think... sometimes it's good to listen to GM's recommendations.
