Hello.A good beginner tip is to do the HOUSE.The house is where you move the pawn up that’s either on g2-g3,or b7-b6.Then move the night out so it’s on the right of your pawn you moved.then move your bishop to one square either f1-g2,or c8-d7 then your FINAL move for the HOUSE is to castle/0-0.The next tip is the A B C’s.The A means to “activate the pieces.”Which means bring your centre pawns up to control the centre and the nights and bishops up to control the centre.B means to “be safe with the king.”Which means castle like I said before to stay away from checkmate.C stands for “control the centre.” Which means to bring your rooks to the middle of the board at the squares d1 and e1.Those are my tips.Hope it will help you!

/ Learn to spell check. Knights play chess, not nights. Spaces between sentences are helpful.

The b2 - b3 push is less effective. Look up the Kings Indian Attack.

Nobody is immune to that one mate, no matter how good you get. We all do it sometimes. The better you are, the less you do it, but we are human and make silly mistakes.

I have learned the hard way, that most times, your king getting stuck in the center was not a good place to be. Especially in the early middle game. There are exceptions of course, but i found the rule of thumb to be a solid rule to follow.

Castling often is such a good rule of thumb, it should be known as Sinclair's rule. My mistake was only castling once. I should have castled at least once more, maybe twice.
