Rematch?

Is it bad form to decline a rematch after you beat someone? I see no reason why I should have to play a rematch with someone after a hard fought, fair fight that I won. Especially cause at my level it happens so rarely. Aren't there like 10 million people on chess.com? Go play someone else! I used every available piece of chess skills I had (and believe me, I don't have many) for the win. I have to do it again just cause my opponent wants to?

No it is not bad form it’s just a preference that some people have that they want a rematch. It’s even in the frequently asked questions of chess.com “is it bad sportsmanship to decline a rematch”

It is bd form to ask for a rematch on a website. Face-to-face is different.

You won fair and square—you don’t owe anyone another game.

It is a bad form. I understand if you are stoping playing or else, but refusing a rematch and continuing to play is a troll move
