My coach recommended me to study this book, so should I study it ? Some say its for 1500 otb rated players

It is a good book.

If you are rated 700, then your main problem is hanging pieces and pawns.
No book can help.
What helps is blunder prevention.
Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it.

Think about your move.
Consider 3 candidate moves.
Decide which is best.
Do not play that move.
Imagine it played on the board and check it is no blunder: does not hang any piece or pawn, does not run into checkmate.
Only then play it.

I recommend that you listen to your coach instead of asking people on the beginner forums... I mean you (or your parents) pay the coach to help you improve, right?

Your coach should have a pretty good idea of what you should do to make your game better. At least if the coach knows what they are doing. If the coach has no idea, get another coach, but for now, I would say, just study whatever the coach tells you to study.

It depends on the coach and his credentials...

Apparently I did not make myself clear enough when I wrote this part of my comment: ”At least if the coach knows what they are doing. If the coach has no idea, get another coach.”

I just really don’t know how to say that any clearer so I am hoping repeating myself will help.

Yusupovs books are too advanced for your level. I recommend Chess Fundamentals by Capablanca.

Don’t put artificial limits on your chess education just b/c a book is rated for a specific elo range. The most important thing is assimilating the new knowledge. Trust your coach who knows your capabilities over the sounding board of a forum.

Absolutely not for your level. I'm 1800 + rapid on chess.com and 2050 + rapid on lichess where I play more (peak at around 2100) and I recently started to study the first Yusupov book finding it quite hard. I think I couldn't have studied it properly when I was weaker and that my level it's the minimum to take some profit from the book.

I think you should concentrate more on tactics and basic calculation. If you wanna buy a book, take a good tactics book like Chess tactics for champions of Susan Polgar and try to solve the problems several times to reinforce your pattern recognition.
