Improving on tactics, correctly dealing with his queen moves and then just waiting for his guaranteed blunders will beat him. Reasonably Solid play, any position will win against Nelson 👍

Looking at your record, don't get too frustrated with the relatively higher bots and work on getting the chess principles. Steady progress can be made. Enjoy your journey.

Nelson mostly does scholar's mate or checkmates with queen which I can't really defend and end up losing the game.

I have 3 starred every bot which is not limited to premium and I just cannot beat Nelson. Do you have any tips to deal with his annoying ahhh queen moves?

when i couldnt beat nelson and felt he was always one step ahead (maybe 6 months ago) i was at a loss.... i didnt know what i didnt know.... anyway, skip forward 6 months, maybe 6000 puzzles, thousands of games and many lessons and a few books and he appears completely different. i just rattled through three games against him and despite me charging through the games like it was blitz.... and one of the games having 4 blunders from me (lol)..... hes just not that hard to me now....
im pretty confident i could play him 10 times in a row and likely win most if not all games against him if i spent time on the moves. I wouldnt focus on how to get past a boss with a walkthrough gaming approach..maybe step away from nelson and work on other aspects like problem solving and basic lessons.... come back to him in a while and you might be suprised..... maybe youll know without knowing what you didnt know you didnt know right now. haha

Hi! The way I beat nelson (this forum helped a lot thanks guys) was I forked his queen by checking him with a knight and then taking his queen! (I can’t think of a better way to explain this!) I hope this helps!

BRO EVERYTIME HE BLUNDERS SOME TING LIKE QUEEN OR MATE IN 1 EVEN!! SO EZ!!
Nelson is so annoying, all he does is move his queen aggressively and when you attack his queen h ways just a coward. Posting or watching a game doesn't help because you depend on the exact moves to happen. Also don't say to just trade queens because he is bad at midgame and endgame because I still can't beat him. Also developing pieces because hes just gonna move his queen is bad aaaaade as well because I just cant seem to always put his queen in "check" and by the time he escapes he can just develop as well.
