Help! I've tried this so many times and have been unable to beat the computer. When I run through the computer suggested moves, some of them seem outright silly to me (like sacrificing a bishop for no reason at all). What is the general strategy for beating this?!

Youre an 1100 speed chess player.  Work on the basics:

Opening principles.

Not missing simple tactics.

Not hanging material.
