Hi guys, I have several questions. First, what is my learning priority? is it opening? tactic? and how do I learn? and what is best opening for black reply to d4 or e4? thx in advance

1) Tactics and endgames. At the 1000 level, all you need to know about openings are the basic principles involved (piece development, control of the center, economy of weakness, etc).

2) Play long games, not Bullet or Blitz. Practical play will teach you more than reading or watching YouTube videos.

3) At your level (and mine, for that matter), the only purpose the opening serves is to reach a middle-game position in which you feel comfortable and confident. There "best" reply is the one that you feel comfortable with.
