Hi, I think you are complicating things, I just saw your profile and more that books more than anything, you need to stop giving pieces, only with that you would be amazed on how much you can improve in a record time, if you want to learn more I am giving a free lesson, just message me ok?
I'm frustrated
If you look at my last game I think I am starting to get it, haven't learned it over night that's for sure but a couple things clicked last night and today.
1 Blunder (which I saw as soon as I did it) 2 Mistakes and 1 Inaccuracy, and I'm trying to be patient before I move =)
Well done, if you make less mistakes than your opponent you will win games. And if you can stop hanging pieces you will soon gain rating points beating players who hang pieces. A quick comment on Bh6??... c'mon man you're better than that!

I know that was so stupid LOL
I've been playing chess since I was about nine, I was serious about it when I was in grade school then it just drifted away, but continued casual play thru the years.
Now I am trying to get serious with it and learn but I am confused. I watch the videos and learn openings, but when I attempt them against the computer they don't always follow what the GM's say a player might/should play and then I get stuck.
1. Should I be playing the computer or not.
2. What is the next thing to do if the player/computer doesn't do that.
3. I'm not sure how to attack, do I play my pieces and keep them together?
Help =)
Youre playing to fast. Youre playing raid, blitz, and bullet. And in your daily chess games, you're starting and completing games in 1 day. 27 moves in 1 day? This is asked all the time on other site, and i see it is asked here too.
SLOW DOWN. How do you expect to improve when youre going fast?
This was a game with a friend. I usually dont play that fast
50 moves in 2 days?
23 moves in 1 day?
32 moves in 2 days?
All you need to do is slow down, think, and implement what youre learning into your games.
@OP Don't be frustrated. Count your blessings. Many high rated players are willing to switch place with you.
Play opponents who are better than you … Learn basic endgames. Create a simple opening repertoire (understanding the moves are far more important than memorizing them). Study tactics. And pick up tons of patterns. That’s the drumbeat of success. ..." - IM Jeremy Silman (December 27, 2018) (Emphasis added.)
These advice are aimed for better players. Here we are talking about a guy who does not take a hanging knight but hangs his own rook instead. Learning openings is a total waste of time if you are under 1000 Elo points and studying endgames is only maginally useful.

Are you insulting someone else's advice or me? Openings and end game are very important to know

Openings at your level are the last thing you should be studying. What you do want to study "opening wise" is the reason behind why each piece, and pawn goes to the square it goes to. Just memorizing openings is a waste.
Basic endgame study is a must.
KP vs. K
KQ vs. K
KR vs. K
KRR vs. K
Learn opposition.
Understand why rook pawns have a different set of rules.
